1.
-The Pledge of Allegiance- I'll never pledge allegiance To profit over people Gold dollar signs at the top Of the steeples And pistols in the pockets Of the boys and girls Ancient public schools and brand new jails And the voice that's on the radio Says lock up all the doors Put the bullets in your rifle Get ready for war But I won't let them catch you in the middle of the night No no I promise I promise I promise I promise I'll never swear an oath To those who attack while unprovoked And deliver body bags full of children To their mothers Turn a blind eye to criminals in neck ties With overflowing wallets full of blood stained paper
2.
Asphalt Soul 02:45
-Asphalt Soul- And it's so isolating Working just to keep yourself alive Callused hands, skin and bone Finally home your finally home Much more infuriating Never learn to take your own advice Asphalt soul and heart of stone You're finally home, finally home But it don't feel like home no Black metal bars on Windows Die cast shadows in the sunrise And we're all slowly aging Pretending it's humiliating Stalling out while years fly by Exhaustion and anger hand in Hand they cross the street with me tonight With worn out shoes, caffeine blues Nicotine and stale old booze In bars and filthy basements Warehouses, parking lots and rented rooms All loose screws, that got no rules The lion hearts, the cold the bruised With the lights turned down low Don't need no fucking Windows The night shatters from the inside Tight fists move fast and breathe slow Forget about tomorrow Reborn free and undefined
3.
Jesus Saves 01:47
-Jesus Saves- They hide behind a flag To justify every attack And every step along the way They're stripping down our liberties Cause we’re all being deceived and fed re-written history where all of our atrocities are replaced by tales of bravery Fat lazy and full of pride Armed to the teeth and terrified American Citizens losing their minds With a gun in your hand and stars in your eyes And they say that Jesus saves Whats he doin for the kids in the graves And all those murdered in the name Of freedom and equality She pointed at the clouds up in the sky and the angels with no faces and said one day the acid rain will wash away the evidence of everything we’ve done and the monsters we become So said with a mess like this we’ll need a food need a flood need a goddamn flood Fat lazy and full of pride Armed to the teeth and terrified American Citizens losing their minds With a gun in your hand and stars in your eyes And they say that Jesus saves Whats he doin for the kids in the graves And all those murdered in the name Of freedom and equality
4.
-Gun Lust and Greed- Born and raised highly trained to be warlike Turning children into arms for the state Give us your name we'll give you a number A vest on your chest and a gun on your waist We barely ask for a rhyme or reason Any opposition is an act of treason Flying a flag and wearing a ribbon Stockpiling guns and ammunition And just like that we’re Sending soldiers off to die Over fucking ideologies While we hold our heads up high Gun lust and greed A fucked up God and country Killing in the name of democracy We kill each other in astonishing numbers Bombs in the air and boots on the pavement They sell us lies in patriotic disguises A scared sheep is a willing slave Offshore accounts and shell corporations Profit profit profit free from taxation Government subsidies hyper inflation Im looking for work while you go on vacation You're taking kick backs while you kick back Watching your war unfold from your laptop A hundred million fists raised high in air We're the war torn poor with the thousand yard stare And just like that wer’e Sending soldiers off to die Over fucking ideologies While we hold our heads up high Gun lust and greed A fucked up God and country Killing in the name of democracy
5.
White Noise 03:13
-White Noise- And you talk till I can't hear nothing else Rambling and ranting about Christians and democracy The color of color skin, the burden of sin And the relevance of everything Everything irrelevant Same fucking story behind every door Around every table and on every station Keeping everybody busy on the bullshit Big tits, base hits, outfits And we can’t turn the dial anymore We give up control We can't turn the dial anymore Every stupid person has a stupid opinion Sitting on the panel and expecting you to listen It's a bait and switch with inflammatory clips And what you lack in integrity you make up in tips And we can’t turn the dial anymore We give up control We can't turn the dial anymore Now the news man told me Everyone's an enemy And all my friends agree And my friends are The smartest people I know Cause my friends think just like me

about

The White Noise EP is a reaction to the media we're forced to endure on a day to day basis both consciously and subconsciously.

Every day before the first school bell rings hundreds of thousands of students are forced to recite a pledge of allegiance to the american government before they can even understand what they're swearing their undying allegiance to. Before every sporting event, the National Anthem is sung in many cases paired with some display of American Military might, like cannons being fired, jets flying over head, veterans and active service members being paraded around the stadium as gods.

The stars and stripes are as ubiquitous as swastikas in Nazi Germany and pictures of Kim Il Sung in North Korea. Our movies, television shows, radio programs and advertisements all tell the same story. Every facet of American life is rife with nationalism, jingoism and indoctrination into the Military Industrial Complex.

Sold to the public under the guise of "promoting freedom and democracy" our country has invaded foreign lands, toppled democratically elected leaders, killed innocent civilians and given rise to radical extremist groups responsible for atrocity after atrocity. Long gone are the days of the US liberating Dachau.

Domestically our history books have been curated and whitewashed to present the image of infallible "founding fathers" who created the single most perfect document of all time, our Constitution and the perfect capitalist system. Our homegrown atrocities from slavery, the trail of tears, japanese internment camps, the horrors committed during the civil rights movements, are all minor footnotes to chapters extolling the American virtues of hard working single individuals who rose to greatness from humble beginnings. No mention of the extreme oppressive police brutality that has suppressed african americans from the moment slavery ended to present day, no mention of the Stonewall riots, no emphasis on workers rights and the importance of unions.

Alternative facts are the American Way. We are a people who have been in constant struggle for equality domestically since our inception, a people with very short memories and a deep misunderstanding of our violent history.
